So I tried to update my phone to Lollipop via your Companiom app but it failed and now I have bricked phone...

I ve tried repair my phone, but it every single time hangs on same spot....

What to do?

You may need to perform a software repair using PC Companion.The process will erase all internal memory.You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 60% battery.

Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).

Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).

Try again, charge your phone for 30 minutes > disable your firewall and/or antivirus > run PCC > follow the steps

been there done that...

compatibility mode xp sp3, it just always hangs on this point... like 10 times in arow..

I am getting really desperate here....

Have you uninstall > reinstall PCC? is there another PC you could use? Compatibility mode w/ win7?

You could wait some more and try later,maybe servers are over stressed.

I reinstalled companion app... disabled windows firewall, tried win 7 compatibility mode... nothing helps..

how can i charge my phone? as soon as I connect it to the charger it turns on shows only sony and xperia logo.... i cant turn it off... few more tries and I will be on low battery...
