Sending Text Messages?

i just got my xperia yesterday but for some reason i cant seem to send text messages when i put my sim in the new phone.

i can receive them, make and receive calls and get on the internet no problem.

i have also tried resetting the factory settings twice!

any ideas?

First, you add one receiver, then you press the menu button and it says "edit receivers". You can add more receivers there

Hi, thanks very much for the help.  I did actually manage to figure it out in the end, it just took a while to get the hang of going to the menu and doing edit to add more receivers.  Got it sussed now thanks!
