I trust the technical support but I'd like to point actual Sony's staff, who partecipate to this forum, to my partial disappointment.
I had a chat with local support about bluetooth glitches. They will, I am sure, forward the information to programmers but I am a little pissed from my chat.
Sony can't reply that they guarantee only for their equipment. If previous model (Z3c and Z5c) in my case works fine with my hardware, the same MUST apply to the new XZ1.
Specific case: 2016 Peugeot car stereo, Sony headset SBH54 and bose QC35 are hardware already existed the day XZ1 was designed. It's Sony's duty to ensure that their phone operating system complies with already existing hardware, not the converse.
Note that i wrote SBH54 in bold because it has been defined as "thirdy party" by my other side's peer and I had to point the fact that is an actual (and expensive) Sony's hardware.
I am pretty sure that even Sony's engineers don't ditch their expensive laser printer or their monitor each time they upgrade their PC or Mac.
The same must apply to mobile devices, whose natural peripherals are indeed, speakers, car stereo and headset.
This forum's moderator put a big deal in pointing us to refer to local support but, when the kind of answer we receive are like the afore mentioned, I'd say that it's a big failure. Just I don't get if it's in development or in support.
Edit: I forgot to mention that this is a new product, distributed just yesterday. My company would have hundred of eyes open to check for problems.
