I would still like to get the XZ Premium but the XZ1 looks like it will have a better camera interface and has the 3D scanning.

What do you think?

SD835 is supposedly quite power efficient. combined with Android Oreo and its power saving features it could still get good battery life.

that said, XZ1 Compact has got the same battery size and with a smaller battery and less pixels to push around it'll probably have more stamina that the regular XZ.

I will wait and see the sample photo and the real thing at shop first.

Indeed this is the first Xperia that I wouldn't pre-booking.

It sound like a nightmare to pay $700 for such a bad phone.

Don't think that's the point.

You're talking about stock OS and an Efficient chipset which are true. But most people buy flagships to play intensive games or do multi tasking which consumes and drains battery.

Nevertheless, I will not be complaining even it weighs more due to higher battery capacity.

Ive seen enough in years. I got the xperia ray,arc s,z1c,z3c and Xz.Best advice before buying!Watch you tube!Compare!and then buy! I allmost got Xzp because of bad camera Xz and did most compares for my need.I got a g6 dac 64gb for less then 430e now and cant be more happy!THE LG V30 is the one to get your eyes on maybe if you want a beast with great cameras.

Should you buy the Xperia XZ1 or XZ1 Compact just for 3D Creator? Probably not. But if you already like these phones, the 3D avatars could be the icing on the cake.
