Since my last update I've seen a barrage of notifications to tell me that the smart backlight control isn't working. I've tried various different ways to stop this as it's every few seconds (no exaggeration is less than every 15 seconds in between each message)

I can't disable the smart backlight in the app settings and tried force stopping it for it only to happen instantly. I've turned off the auto adjusting backlight within the display options too but it's still happening

Unfortunately your screenshots are only visible for other users after getting aprooved by moderators, so I can not see them by now.

I can now see your screenshot, and with that function (Smart Backlight Control) turned off you shouldn't have problems with it.

Smart backlight control keeps stopping and this notification pops up constantly, and i cannot even watch netflix anymore or watch a video or do anything without this constant notification.

it's still happening even latest 47.2.A.4.41 update with Dec security patch

Same here, spoke to network provider and they advised me to turn off on advanced settings on the display menu (settings) and wait for the next Sony update
