Xperia Z2 Does not detect earphones

Hi All,

My sony xperia Z2 mobile phone does not detect sony xperia or any other earphones.Can anyone one help me in this?

Settings-apps-all-smart connect,clear data.

Cleared data and rebooted but still there is same issue. Even tried disabling smart connect app and enabling again. It didnt work.

Check in the 3.5 mm input if there is any dirt.

1t check if the earphone are compatible as the phone doesn't agree with ome old type 3.5m earphones and are they the ones that came with the device ?

Yes it is the earphones which came with Z2 phone.
