Xperia M won't turn on.

My Xperia M ran out of charge last night, and since then, I've had it on charge all night, but it still refuses to turn on 8 hours later. Was wondering if anyone knew why?

I suggest that you start with removing the battery for a while. You can also try to remove the SIM card and SD card and try to start without. 

If the phone still doesn't start you can try to repair the phone software using PC Companion:

In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phones software > Press the blue link that says "Repair phone".

Hi, I had exact same issue - finally googled mcafee and phoned their helpline - they walked me through setting it straight. The issue was trial period ended plus updates for phone and mcafee during period I had switched sim from Sony phone to another then back again. Their helpline was 24/7
