Hello,
In the past year, I've owned 4 Xperia devices. 3 Xperia Zs(Which all have been broken and replaced by your support centre/distributor for bad quality and construction faults) and an Xperia Z1 compact.
Last week I was on vacation and took my phone(Xperia Z1 compact) to the pool with me. I made sure all the jacks were sealed, used it exactly for 5-6 minutes and didn't dunk it beneath 15-20 cms underwater. The phone worked really good but after 15 minutes or so it stopped working. I took it to the support centre at Kuwait and they said that the liquid indicators are red, which means water has entred through the phone, and thus they cannot replace it. Weird thing is, the device was COMPLETELY sealed when i took it with me under water.
I find this completely unacceptable and unprofessional as this is the 4th device that breaks down in less than a year.
I am ready to provide my serial number and device number.
Please solve this as fast as possible as I cannot keep on changing my phone every 3 months.
I have the exact same story! what to do now?
Sorry, but here you won't get too much help. You have to contact your local xperia:
http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/
This phone can not be wetted hundred times already written
Can an admin please respond? This is an unacceptable delay, I cannot have wait this long and I need a working device.
I am sorry to hear about this, but as outlined by Alexdon as above you are best to speak with your local Xperia Care regarding this as it ia service/warranty issue.
