What is the temperatures of your vaio's processor.?
both processors are 85 degrees
How long have you had your Vaio.?
What are you normally doing just before your Vaio shuts down.?
Have you tried cleaning the cooling vents of dust with compressed air (you should be able to get this from your local PC shop), check the instructions on the can before using because if used incorrectly you could damage the fan..
i have had it for approx 1 year i can be doing anything from word processing surfing the net to downloading the mojority of the time it freezes when downloading.
