RAM upgrade FS215s

Hiya, I am thinking of upgrading the RAM on my vaio. It comes shipped with 512mb split into 2 slots (each 256) which is a bit irritating when it comes to upgrading.

Anyway. On the website, it says maximum memory 1024mb.
Does this mean the max I can have is 1gb, or that the maximum each slot can have is 1gb (I have 2 slots)

hmmm, I don't think that I will upgrade my VAIO. Makes not much sense. Maybe if we have ServicePack3. But at the moment, I think more about an replacement instead upgrade.:smileycool:

I think you will find that most members of this forum use Crucial for their RAM upgrades and I have yet to hear of any problems.

something come up in my mind....I bought 2 x 512 to upgrade my FS215S from Crucial two days ago.....but my laptop has 1 month life !so, what happen to my warranty if I change memory??I lost it?.......thanks a lot....:smileycry:
