I've had an RDR-DC205 HDD Recorder for approx 18months and suddenly it ha started turning itself off after 33 secs of operation (I've attempted turning it on many times now and it always shuts down after the same period of time). Anybody know why? Thanks in advance.

Ps. I did look on Sony sight for firmware upgrades and saw one for 1.05. Unfortunately it looks like the upgrade procedurecould take approx 4mins. (By which time the unit would already have turned itself off!).
