* I am running Marshmello with all updates enabled and installed as of 11//27/2016 " IMEI: ***************
* I tried multipule eadbuds
* I am an audiophile https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audiophile
* Under sound setting they have no effect on ANY earbuds mainly my Sony XBA-2 - Dual-Driver ear buds )
* you limit the amps to the earbuds to "protect my hearing" the Z5 Compact needs more power to power dual driver ear buds (IE you won’t let me turn up the volume because you assume I have single driver earbuds ... I am not buying a 200$ portable earbud amp because you want to "protect my hearing" ...
* This limitation may be a Android thing but the sound settings should at least work ..
* the sound settings have no effect on ANY apps (Pandora,Dsub,youtube,VLC) ( IE it is not the app so don’t tell me it’s the app or my earbuds …

Yeah yet again I'm forced to use the software I may as well switch to Apple if I wanted to be forced to use crappy software to play music... with root I know you can force audio enhancements so make it work or get out..rmccurdy out.
Yeah I agree. So many audio tweaks by Sony engineers but only available in the Music app, which I don't like.
Switched to Poweramp and tweak it instead. At least I have awesome bass now.
I've been using the Denon app thus far. Anything I do in android sound settings options has no effect.
also when playing music in my car through the built in aux, i need to turn the volume up much more so than i would when using the denon app on an iphone.
Same problem here with state of the art Bose system, I can hardly hear my music.
