Xperia Z Notification bar swipe lag after 4.4.2 update

Just updated to the new 4.4.2 in my Xperia Z, and immediately after I started using it I noticed quite a bad lag (Maybe a few fps) when the notification bar was swiped down. Switching to the quick tools is smooth, runs normally but as soon as you move the bar up or down it's very laggy.

Firmware: 10.5.A.0.230

Is this related to my phone's hardware (RAM, CPU, ROM etc etc)

Or is it a software issue (Incorrectly installed firmware, firmware bug)

reboot your phone and check again, if that doesn't work then repair your phone with SUS

I had the very same problem right after i updated to 4.4, restarted the phone and the notification bar was swiping pretty decent (not as fluid as it was in 4.3). But i have other bugs, like lag in the settings swiping menu, lag between the home screens swiping and apps pages, sometimes the screen won't turn on so I have to hard reset the phone, sometimes it freezes when swiping the lockscreen in order to unlock it, and sometimes when in unlock the phone the wallpaper appears after 1-2 seconds. All in all i'm not happy at all with this update, i'm gonna try the" repair my phone" feature, see if that works.

I updated my Xperia Z couple hours ago but I'm having huge problems with lag. Like while typing, clicking the home button etc. Anyone know what to do?

If possible, can I downgrade back to Jelly Bean?

Same problem.. after i update xpria z to kitkat version my phone performance are going bad..😡 some times play games will delay or lagging pls fix it or renew the new update to slove this problem.. jelly beam is better than kitkat version.

For the keyboard lag: disabling the google smileys helps alot.
For menu: in developper options enable the option force gpu rendering
To enable developpers options: go to about phone, and then tap the build number a couple of times (I think it was 5)
