The sin, cos and tan values of the calculator are WRONG!!!

Example: Sin30 = 0.5 but the calculator shows some negative value!

It's the same with other Trigonometric values as well!

I have noticed the same thing in my previous phone when it was running the custom stock ROM!
But there, I thought it was a problem with the developers who developed it!! And I didn't find this problem in my friend's S5

Anyone know why?

And Sony, can you please fix it?? Because I do a lot of Trigonometric calculations! And I don't like downloading any 3rd party app (They just look like Garbage)

There is nothing wrong with the calculator.

Unfortunately, the calculator is running in radians whereas your are looking for values in degrees.

Many devices uncluding HTC and Motorola have these problems.

Currently there is no way to change it into degrees. Besides this calculator wasn't meant for advanced calculations.

Let me give a little conversion here.

90° = π/2

180° = π

30° = π/6

It is really bad that the calculator do not support %. Today I had to download additional one to get this basic function... Duplicating the same apps = sad story

Wow, you mean to flash a custom ROM to my new phone?? Might do that in another few years, but not now! 😛

Anyway the previous custom ROM I mentioned was too CyanogenMod!!! Still it was the same!! 😄

Don't need to flash CM, just look for the CM11 calculator apk.

I don't really know if it supports it now or not but it's worth trying.
