Question: Can I download Apps on my PC and then transmit it manually into my device?

So I have a little problem. I can't download Apps (and updates) with Sony Xperia Z1 (C9603) from Google Store since a couple of weeks. I don't know if it's caused by my inadequate internet connection (No- WiFi), or by something else.

Would be nice if I would get a reply to this but it isn't my main question.

I already searched the web but I wasn't succesfull. So, is there a possibility to download the updates and apps on my PC and then put it manually on my Xperia Z1? And if it's possible then how? Is there an Programm for this? Where can I download the Updates and where (in which Folder on my phone) do I put them?

Also I'm so sorry for my English. I'm not a native English speaker but I hope you will understand what I mean. Slightly_smiling_Face

Thanks in advance.

And how do I get the file manager on my phone when I can't download anything? Or is it already pre-installed?

You have File Commander preinstalled. Open apps drawer, swipe from left side to bring search and then start typing application name. It should pop up.

I want to thank everyone who helped me this far, but I have still one more question for you.

I did everything like you said. I backuped the App on Bluestacks player with Astro and moved it on my desktop.

I put it in my phone and launched it with the File Manager. As I was about to install it, it suddenly stopped and the text popped up: "Application wasn't installed". I tried it again and again but it didn't work 😕

Any ideas why?

Theres no reason why it shouldn't work - does this happen with every app or one in particular
