microphone & internal speaker not functioning when making/receiving calls

i suspected this problem started after i've recently update my xperia to 4.4.2 because before the update it was fine (just my theory though). I've tried plugging the headset but the problem still persist. I've also checked the hardware for mic & internal speaker via *#*#7378423#*#* and it's all good..so what's wrong? is there something in the setting that i've missed? please help

BTW, if i'm using WeChat to make a call, there's no problem..it's only when i'm trying to call using normal method

Probably it was a simple glitch.

Seems I have same problem. I am trying safe mode, but the trouble continues. I noticed that, earphone and mic goes off (in safe mode), when screen wake up near my ear. It seems like proximity sensor correctly disable screen, but immediately it goes back on and earphone and mic goes off. Could it be still sw problem or this is now issue for service center?
