headphone jack not working

I went on holiday to America the other day, and I took some some under water in the pool, I took it out and everything worked then on the flight home I plugged my headphones in and they don't work, I thought it was the headphones at first but none work, I'm sick of things going wrong with this phone, please help me because I don't want the hassle of sending it off

Get an ear tip and clean the 3.5 mm input.Let the phone dry and check again.

You might need to visit a sony service:

But that would mean sending it off, is there nothing else I can do, I thought there was a water resisting jell in it, is there anything I can do to check

There should be a water indicator at the usb lids, see if they turned red or pink.

I thought it has water indicators if you open the flaps for sd,charging etc.can't you find any indicators?

Yeh but it's the plug you put the headphones into, why isn't that working

If water entered your device,it might be just broken. You have to visit a service, have the phone tested.
