Facebook contacts and YouTube by usb

Hi, I just bought a z3 and I can't:
1 see my fb contacts in the contact list even with the proper filters enabled
2 when the phone is connected to my car via usb, have il play YouTube instead of music physically present on the default player.

Hi and welcome to the community!

You can configure the Facebook app to sync all your contacts from Facebook -> [menu] (3 lines at top right) -> App settings -> Sync contacts -> Sync all.

Youtube is a streaming service and doesn't have any local files that your car can access. You need to use AUX or bluetooth instead of USB in this case.

Hello Rickard, I've just seen this thread where you suggest a fix for the contacts issue. I read in another thread that Xperia for Facebook was being phased out and (as was my understanding) we shouldn’t expect contacts to sync. Could you please just clarify the situation for me; I have a Z3 which I purchased in July, should I expect my contacts app to be able to sync with other apps such as Facebook, LinkedIn and whats app?
