Android start up

My z5 is driving me mad, on stratup the message android is starting shows and keeps on showing for a good 5 minutes before the phone will start,  is this usual on these phones?

No that's not normal, unless you finished making some firmware update.

Does it do it every time you restart the phone?

Try restaring the phone in safe mode to see if there is any difference.

Yes itdoes that even if I turn it off for s free minutes.  How do I.put it in safe mode?
