Hi Xperia XZ users,

Have you noticed that your XZ gets abit sluggish after it crosses the 5% battery level mark or is it just me?

If you have, is this issue normal?

At 5% it goes into a much lower performance mode in order to preserve as much life as possible for the user.

I think it's silly to have the performance tuned down just to save battery life.

It's like saying you're running out of petrol and lower speed will help. But you know what, you still need to get to the end point regardless of how slow or fast the car is.

@Incubus except that's not a valid analogy, as you can check SMS and browsing web for a little longer with a downclocked CPU.

From my information, the battery has no effect on SAR levels. Maybe you got confused about the fact that SAR is higher when you have low reception or poor coverage by your provider, so the phone will try to "amplify" the signal to compensate.
