Xperia XZ1 Navigation Bar Position stays on bottom of the phone when rotating

Did anyone notice the navigation bar of XZ1? I just notice that the nav bars change its appearance as it rotates but it still on the bottom part of the phone, rotating 360° it still on same position. Hope it is not a bug on Android Oreo, but its annoying yet maybe its now a default

@Jabberwock it's the intended behaviour, Google made the navbar behave that way in either Android 7.0 or 7.1.

Hi @Jabberwock, what @najodleglejszy wrote is correct.

The navigation buttons (Back/Home/Task) are in a fixed position and will always appear at the same side as the charging port of the device, this is a change that was made in Android 7.1.1.

This is by design and is Android Open Source Project behaviour.

I hope that explains why they aren't changing their position when you are rotating the device! Slightly_smiling_Face
