Poor wifi

Hello everyone. 

About a month ago I bought XZ Premium. Previously i had had Z3 and had been very contented with that phone, but I had it for a very long time and it simply died, so I thought I would go for another Xperia.

A the beginning everything was fine, but last week the internet connection got worse. I mean only wifi connection because my personal data transmission works fine - but I have limited amount of data, so I need to use Wifi as well. But now it is almost impossible to work on wifi - the speed is extremely slow. For example, youtube videos can be watched without stopping only on 360p quality! I had never had such problems with Z3. 

I've looked for the solution and tried some things people recommend, but it didn't work. On safe mode the issue is still the same, I've reseted my connection settings as well but didn't help. I am not very proficient in mobile devices, so maybe accidentally I changed some configurations? For the first couple weeks everything worked good, but now it is kinda tragic.

Please, can you help me? It is very sad, that I've spent a lot of money on my Xperia XZ Premium and it doesnt work as it should be.

I too use XZ Premium.. like u said the slow network was kind of there for like 1 or 2 weeks for the frist time use.. then it eventually become fast and normal.. I guess Google services still taking away Ur network bandwidth or is there any incomplete sync running.. do a couple of restarts and see if it gets normalised.. For a fresh phone.. it's normal to take some weeks for all services on the background to stabilise.... Also check Google photos app settings...

Thank you for your respond! Maybe you are right and I have to just wait and everything will settle. I'll see.

But could you be a little more precise about Google photos app settings? What should I do about that?

Google photos sync settings.. at default it will sync only the camera folder but just in case if u have chosen to back up any other folders from your old sd card with lots of photos and videos, it wil take lot of time to sync it.. sometimes it just hangs forever till a restart.. that's why I said to restart phone like every 2 or 3 days so any Google syncs will stabilise itself..  Also make sure your WiFi does have the speed by checking any other devices..
