No local calender on phone anymore?

Is there no local calender more on the sony phone? All I have is google calender, and I have shared it with my girlfriend, so sees my calender entries. There is no way for me to hide something in a local calender on the phone, so she sees my reminder to pick up the sneakers I got for her birthday or to call the hotel to check my reservation for a surprise weekend getaway. This is far from ideal. All my other xperia phones (this is my 5th) had a local agenda/calender. I am missing something or do the new sony phones only have google calender?

Sony followed the wish of many users and gives an almost stock-android experience.

That means that most of the former Sony apps have been replaced with what Google provides anyhow.

Calendar is one of them.

Also with google calendar you can still use a separate calendar which is not shared with your girlfriend. You can create new calendars in your browser after logging into your google account: https://calendar.google.com

Also, you can use any other calendar app from the Play Store if you wish.

It seems like a weird way to do it, take away a perfectly good working app just to get closer to stock android.

Amyway, I guess that is the only solution for me at the moment. New calender it is. Thank you for the reply.
