Microphone not working during calls xz premium

Seeing  that this has been a issue on previous models too. If someone can help it would be much appreciated,I've only had this phone a few weeks was fine until a day ago, now I

can only be heard during calls if I'm on loudspeaker or using headphones, did a mic test that failed if no solution will be forced to never buy Sony again for a £700 phone this is shoddy.

might be that you've got a defective unit, you should try contacting your local support.

I have found that massaging the bottom of the device can get it working. I'm really annoyed too about this and I've only had the device a month. I want a new device but they will probably take it to inspect, say nothing is wrong and send me back the same unit...
