It used to be when I cleared all applications from drop down bar, everything would be stopped. Now, if using VLC player or Youtube app, the videos or music keeps playing and I can't quickly stop it. Anyone know how to prevent this?

Open the youtube app > tap on your profile icon > settings > general > Picture in picture > off
Hi, there is no Picture in picture option for me where you state there should be. . I'm sure it's a phone function as it does the same on VLC Player.
