as far as i know. it is a software enhancement.

How it works without Image processor? As far as i know in Bravia TV there is an image processor ...

Brava need the extra processor to keep things smooth
Phones are gifted with very adequate processors to do this without a dedicated image processor

I don't see DCE. There's image enhancement which I turn off, but no option for DCE.

Graphics handling is already built in the system on chip or SOC or more the cpu, that is why you often hear, adreno graphics chip together with the processor.
