Hi everyone,

I cant access my device after updating, my usual unlock pattern is stated as 'incorrect pattern'. And i have to unlock the pattern to get all data and features. Already tried restarting the phone several times, phone call and press back, google find your devices, but nothing seems to work. I don't want to lose my data, anybody knows what to do?

I'm at work so I can't try the companion software repair, but thanks. Does this board have any mods?

just got support via chat. Full reset is the only solution after upgrade.

That's not a solution. Did they at least advise you to try the Companion software repaire?

sony companion also resets your phone... iḿ trying it right now, but i am going to lose a lot of photos and stuff......

Anyone tried the find my device application? When I tried to lock my phone I get the message that a request has been sent but I don't see anything different on my phone.

Same here. Find my device doesn't find my device either. When looking in the logfile during an attempt I see:

Same thing when entering the wrong PIN.

Looks like GatekeeperHalDevice is something new or renamed. Can't find anything about it on google.

An interesting detail I noticed is that repeatedly entering the wrong ping will eventually result in a 30 second delay till the next attempt, but when entering the correct pin I can always make a new attempt immediately without any 30 sec delay. So the device somehow recognizes that the PIN is correct, but says "Incorrect PIN" anyway.

Same problem after the update, very annoying. Companion doesnt seem to work either, somehow it won't connect in any way, shape or form..

After the last update, the unlock screen pattern doesn't work. This wasn't an issue before the update. I can't seen to restore anything. There is no way to make a back-up for the items that are currently on my phone, so no way that i'm able to do a full reset. Please help!
