Good day.
I love my Xperia Z3 and I took it to beach one day. It stopped working after and Sony said that it voids warrenty when going to the beach. I took it upon myself to repair the front screen and the back for new color. It boots but just hangs at the Sony logo and the PCC does not recognize my phone, but it can charge the phone's battery.
I really want to fix this phone because I was hyped to own a Sony phone. Is there any way possible to repair it? I pressed the power and volume down button to reset to factory but doesn't get passed the Sony logo after. What can I do?
Thank you for your time, friends.
Hi @reipuerto,
Like @Phy I also suggest that you contact your Local support for more information on how you can get your phone examined at one of our authorised service centers.
Well since you already took it apart, sony will probably say its a user based damaged. I dont really know how they exam the phone wether the user tried fixing a issue him self or not but if they say you took it apart you probably will have to pay for a full new phone. You can try disassembling it again, unconnecting every cable and putting it back together. If it wont work you will have to buy a new device / send to sony for them to tell you to pay for a new device
