Xperia Z2 lagging with games?

Hello 👋

I have just bought my first Sony device - the great Xperia Z2. It looks beautiful, the camera is incredible, but so far, there hasn't been a game that wouldn't lag at least a little bit. It's more about the smoothness, they're not completely smooth. For instance, when you scroll through the available games in Pou, it stutters a lot. Same with the ball. Sky jump lags from time to time, too. I have also tried Kingdom Rush: Frontiers and Cytus. Both of these will stutter a bit at some point. Now, I'm almost certain that this is all my fault and I need to configure something, but I've already closing the background apps, rebooting the device and minor stuff like that.

Yeah, having the same problem. with stamina mode off and even disabled apps to free RAM, also tried rebooting, game boosting with Clean Master, even did a reset. Same thing no improvement. Downloading RR3 soon so i could show the guy at Sony Centre. hue

Guys it is not the device itself, can't you comprehend that? How can a new device sporting an adreno 330 gpu, a Snapdragon 801 clocked at 2.3 ghz, backed up by 3gb of ram lag so much? It is not the device itself; the device is still quite new so the majority of games are not optimised for it! So far, the Note 3 peforms better in gaming than the Z2, even though the Z2 has a faster processing package so that just tells you that the games are the ones to blame.
