Just received my Xperia T the other day and I've noticed that I can't copy and paste text in messages, browser or any other apps, I can select the text but that is all

Also in a text box there is usually a 'select all' option which is not there either

Anyone know how to solve this

On page 85 it explains how to copy text from a web page. I assume it will be similar actions for copying and pasting from most of the stock apps on the phone.

Just playing on my Xperia P on ICS (which I assume is pretty similar in action) in a text message its long press on the text you want to copy and you will get a pop up menu and copy text is one of the options.

In Email its is the same process as a web page.

Let me know if you need any more help.

I've managed to do it now, the button you press to copy in a browser never confirmed that it had copied the text so I never noticed it had worked. To select text in other apps you have to double press instead of long press, I kept long pressing.
