Xperia sp touch screen problem

Hi,

I bought xperia sp on August 10. I have the latest update from sony. But still,I am facing problem of touch when i keep my phone on any flat surface. Also some times when i press power button to unlock, the screen does not come up.

Does Sony doing anything to fix these 2 issues in next updates.

This might be a hardware issue, take your phone to a Sony repair center ASAP

Dhineshdc,the touch problem ob any flat surface is actually a glitch.You can take it to Sony Repair Center.And for the lock screen not coming up.Its a softwate glitch,even i face it.All of us face it.Just wait for the 4.3 update to roll and fix these problems.

I have the exact same issue. i got the latest software update as of right now.

when phone is flat, touchscreen only responsds 10% of the time.   happens when also in a cradle or when the phone is not moving.

i hope this issue is to be adresssed on the 4.3.   somehow i dont think it will be

flat surface problem is easy.
Just restart your phone.

I have the xperia sp with the problem where the touch screen stops responding while the phone is plugged in the charger. I also have the xperia GO. I connected the sp to the GO charger and the problem went away away.

I accidentally find that when your finger of your either of your hand is touching the metal surrounding frame of the phone touch screen responses correctly so it should be a hardware problem maybe static something.

When using my phone touch is not work in normally...it works in hard touches only....then i restart the mobile touch works in normal way...please give me the reason of the problem and is it a hardware or software problem?
