Xperia M dual- suddenly swtiched off and now not starting

Hello everyone,

I am having Xperia M dual sim. I bought it around 8 months ago. It was working great till yesterday. Today, the phone was getting restarted again and again and now it has switched off. Not switching now. On pressing the power button, the light at the bottom blinks thrice but the phone is not starting. PLEASE HELP

You may need to perform a software repair using PC Companion.The process will erase all internal memory.You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 60% battery.

Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).

Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).

Sir, I have tried this already but PC Companion is not able to connect to my phone as it is swtiched off. Please suggest

Follow exactly the steps given,make sure to charge it for about 2-3 hours and after that PCC doesn't need it turned on.

Sir thats the main problem my phone is also not getting charged. It is just not reposding. Before switching off, it had around 40% of battery. Well as directed by you I have connected the phone to the charger although no signal for charging is showing(i.e. either blue or red light). After 2-3 hours I will retry.

What if you try different cables and/or chargers?

Hi, I tried the power and volume up button, it vibrated trice but only the Sony with the Xperia logo with black background appears and it suddenly went off and back to the logo with black background.. it would not proceed... Hoping for you reply.. thanks
