I've updated my Xperia L to 1.14.in my Xperia L,am experiencing following problems ,
1.the call application freezes after the call.
2.The call timer is getting stuck to 00:00 most of the times for both incoming and outgoing calls.
3.proximity sensor is not working properly at sometimes.
Please help me to recover from this problems.
Suggestions are welcome....

Kindly please do not suggest people to go to service centre for the bugs you develop and update it over the internet. I was very happy before when i purchased xperia l. But now after the update it **bleep**.
I will get an average of about 50 calls and please think what will happen if the phone hangs often.
Sony engineers are not capable of fixing the bug. They can only fix the bugs in useless apps like walkman and album. Isn't it?
Instead of suggesting service center. You suggest a good mobile other than sony.

Note. Updating using update tool from Sony did not work. Still having problem.

Guys I had the same problem, and all I did was reinstall the firmware version. Note, I did it through pc companion not by the update centre in the phone.
1. Back up your phone via pc companion (I am not responsible for loss of data,bluetooth files will be erased)
2. Repair your phone and install the latest or the same firmware (depends on your country) again.
3. Restart your phone
4. Restore all your data from the backup you had just made.
This worked out for me hope it helps:)

Duckbill, I really do that and the bugs continue. Only Sony could fix it.

Well I don't know then, it worked for me and the bugs seem to have resolved. It's worth a try again than rather waiting for Sony to release a new update. The latest firmware released uptill date is 15.3.A.1.17 in some countries and users are still complaining about the bugs, so you don't know when a reliable update might be launched!!!!!!
Some people are also suggesting to flash your device to a older version of jellybean, I have not tried that and not sure of the consequences. But as far as I know, older versions have more bugs than newer ones.

If you have the call bug, then the call timer will be stuck at 00:00 or 00:01 and the phone hangs after the call and still the timer displays 00:00 or 00:01, I will post a screenshot taken from my phone with the 'about phone ' screen to show that it is resolved

One more update for you folks, we the xperia l users are not getting android 4.4 because Sony says it's not compatible with the processor and the hardware
