X10 Mini Pro - The application email(process.com.android.email) has stopped unexpectedly

Hi there!

Guys, I have a real problem... The phone everytime shows the error: "The application email(process.com.android.email) has stopped unexpectedly"

I'm unable to do anything - to call, to text, to go to applacations, etc - the error appears instantly after its closing.

Could you tell me how to fix this problem?

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

If you are able to access the menus, I suggest that you go to Settings > Applications > Manage applications > Menu button (bottom left button) > Filter > All > Email > Clear data.

But if you cannot access the menus, a software repair via PC Companion would be recommended:

In PC Companion you press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phone/tablet software > Repair phone/tablet (the blue clickable link in the message) > Follow these steps without having your device connected to the PC.

Follow the instruction that appears in the program and do not connect your device until this guide tells you how to connect it.

As I said above I cannot acces the menus so I will use PC Companion. But I need to know will I lost my personal data (sms/contacts) after repairing the phone via "Repair phone/tablet"?
