Windows 8 MTP

I was installing pc companion in windows 8.1 and getting below mentioned error message for MTP Support while installing.

After Installiation of PC companion, i tried to connect my XPERIA L with MTP as usb setting in phone.

The phone is not connecting to pc companion and not able to update the phone as well.

Please let me know how to connect Xperia to PC suite in Windows 8 machine.

First of all run Pc Companion in compatibility mode for Windows 7..
