Watsapp Contacts not getting DELETED

Dear All,

Whenever i want to delete a contact from my list, i go to the contact select it and delete it.Only to see that the phone's contact number gets deleted but the watsaap contact couldn't be deleted. After that only the watsaap contact is seen and it cannot be removed. Isn't there any way by which i can remove the contact on the whole as in totally remove it from my phone..

Hi,

I'm not that familiar with Whatsapp, but if you go to Settings > Do you find "Whatsapp" here? If yes, press on it > Your@account-name > Unmark "Sync contacts".

You can also go to Contacts > Menu button (three vertical dots) > Filter > Whatsapp > Make sure that no options here is marked.

Also make sure that there are no specific settings in the application itself that have a sync function.
