Sorry to hear that you are yet another victum of Sony.
I faced a similar situation and they have flat out denied my requests to replace the phone due to manufacture's defect.

I wish you luck but doubt you will get them to replace it. Son't policy is to only replace water damaged phones but will say that it's your fault water got in.
