I'm having problems with my Z2 tablet touchscreen.
When I am trying to scroll with my finger, the screen jumps all over the place.
I have tried running the touchscreen test in diagnostics, and I am getting some unusual failures.
The test below I ran my finger horizontally across the screen, and you can see how it has jumped all around.
In some cases it will follow my finger. Other cases it will jump all over the place.
I have a screen protector, but am convinced it is not that as it has been fitted for several months and this hasn't been a problem before.
Can anyone help, or is this a warranty issue?
Boot on safe mode and check again

If nothing work then contact your local Xperia care
I powered off (I should have tried that first!), and I can't get it to turn back on now.
I guess I will be contacting the sony technical team.
Keep us updated.
Try holding power and volume up untill you feel 3 quick vibrations then try turning it on
After speaking to Sony technical helpdesk I have tried holding the power key for 2 minutes, whilst plugged in and again whilst not plugged in.
I have also tried pressing the power key and volume up with no response.
And finally I have tried a repair of the software using PC Companion.
The tablet will not respond to anything.
I have no choice now but to send it in for warranty repair.
Hi Merks,
Can I ask how you got on with sending your tablet off for repair? I've just posted my phone for hopping-screen issues and wondering how long it took and if your warranty covered the repair or did they send you a quote?
Thanks!
I have the same issue. mostly happens in my browser. I have tried a few different browsers as well. Choppy jumpy scrolling leads to the browser freezing up. Aaarrrgggggghhhhhh!!!
Turning on Developer Mode:Force GPU Rendering seems to work. No choppy scrolling as of right now...
So after an hour or so, the problem is back. Just not on every window like before. Image heavy windows still have scrolling issues...
