Smartband / Lifelog not logging car, bus or train travel

Just bought a Smartband a couple of days ago and I am, for the most part, very pleased with it. I'm using it paired to a HTC One (m8) and everything is working fine except it's not logging transportation by car, bus or train. So on my morning commute by train it just shows me standing up for an hour doing nothing. I was lead to believe, by the documentation and the promotional videos, that it would recognise travel by car, bus or train? Is this working for anyone else?

It does not always work for me (z1compact) and it got worse since the last update.
But the transportation feature is still in beta as far as I know. It should get better with the next updates. (I hope)

Earlier I used only phone and all stats about bike, car was ok. Now when I got smartband it doesn't count my car and bike. Is it after the update or some problem with smartband ?

Lifelog logged transportation fine before the update, but logged nothing after. I think the problem is not the smartband. It's the app.
