PC Companion can't connect to internet

Can't check for updates on PC Aompanion as it says "Server is not accessible. PC Companion needs to connect to an online server. The server is currently not accessible. Please try again later."

Please advise.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Are you trying to update from a home PC or are you at an office or similar? If you're at an office, there might be some firewall that blocks the program.

If you're at home, make sure that you do not have any antivirus/firewall that is blocking PC Companion.

thanks I am using home system and firewalls are open. still not connecting and now there is another issue, my phone is not dected to PC companion. Please advsie.
