New Xperia T2 Ultra Dual does not vibrate

I just bought an Xperia T2, from day one I'm noticing the phone does not vibrate during startup, during incoming calls as well as when long touching home screen. I tried the built in Diagnostics which resulted as "failed". The device does not vibrate in service menu either. Is it a hardware fault?

I've also updated to the latest version using the OTA update. There is no vibration still.

You should have the device examined at a sony service.

Checked with Authorized Sony Center, there the phone properly vibrated. Now the phone vibrates intermittently, when there is no vibration tapping on the right top corner a few times fixes the problem. I've been told to bring back the phone if vibration stops working.
