MyXperia
Hello there, as you know when using the MyXperia website you can use a few things towards your phone, locate, sound etc. but before you start you get the offer to allow acces of locating your phone even if the device is turned off. How do i go abouts activating that, ive made a gmail account and activated it through my emails. But when i still turn my phone off i still cant locate it, am i doing anything wrong? i just want my phone to be secured.

Where does it say you can locate if the device is turned off - I've checked and all I see is phone locating and erasing data and allowing Google offline access

Unfortunately I beleive you may been mistaken, the service requires:
- Make sure that you use the same Google™ account as the one used in your device to log in to my Xperia™ website, myxperia.sonymobile.com, via a computer (or other Internet-enabled device).
- Make sure that you have inserted the SIM card into the device.
- Make sure that you have enabled my Xperia™ in the device.
- Make sure that your device has an active data connection.
With the phone powered off there would be not active data connection so it would not work sorry.
