Does the same occur if you remove the SIM?

After a major update like kitkat, it is better to restore the phone to factory default setting.  Then start fresh.  You can get rid of problems from leftovers

Mera phone restart problem not solved... I kept it in safe mode.. I tried update repair for more than ten times... And I did all things removing sd card.. Applications all nothing worked... Finally service center people not solved my problem they just did update.. I visited hyderabad service center twice.. No use they just updating same thing I did.. they not at all checking hardware.. Worst experience with Sony I never ever buy Sony product and advice any body.. They just wasted my time.. I spoke with Sony people 10 times they advice same thing repeatedly

Sorry to hear that you're still having issues with your phone.

Did you also try the suggesting from alexdon? Try removing the SIM card(s) and try other SIM cards. If there's a bad connection with the SIM the phone could restart.

If the issue should still remain I recommend that you contact your local support team.
