My power button doesn't work. HOW ELSE DO I SWITCH PHONE ON?

I have a Sony Xperia Pro. The power button has stopped working for a while now. But since I usually didn't let the phone run out of charge it was okay, as I didn't have to switch on the phone. Once the phone switched on though, but I removed the SIM card and battery and then the phone turned on it by itself. So THIS is how I used to turn on my phone ever since the power button stopped working. However this little trick isn't working anymore.

I CANNOT SWITCH MY PHONE ON.

Can you tell me another way to switch phone on when the power button is not working?

I have tried taking out the battery and putting it in as I said but the trick is no longer working.

PLEASE HELP ME.

there isn't a way to turn it on w/o the power button, you need to repair your phone

If u flash a custom kernel with any recovery you can connect it the charger an reboot from recovery
