Issue is still unresolved. Mobile data gets disabled suddenly and after that does not enabled, unitll you reboot. I called call center. They suggested factory reset. I did that and now checking.
Sony should give some solution for this. I am using Xperia M-dual.
Still same problem. One work around I found as opposed to restarting the phone is to go to
Settings - > More -> Mobile Networks->SIM1
Change Network Mode from GSM to WCDMA or from WCDMA to GSM and after that the Mobile Data signal picks up. It seems this issues more prominent in Network areas where the coverage is weaker.
Hey I found the exact reason why this is happening. Let me to through the reasons one by one.
1. It is NOT the SIM : Using the same SIM I am able to browse with no issues whole day in my office. This issue occurs only when I am at my home Network and using this phone.
2. It is NOT single SIM versus dual SIM : I tried connecting both ways but the problem stays.
The only conclusion that I can draw from the above experiments is that this issue is there in areas where the Mobile signal is low or intermittent. Once the Tower signal is lost the Internet connection is also lost. After that even if the Tower signal comes back and mobile picks up the signal the Internet connection does not resart. So we need to do phone restart, GSM/ WCDMA change and all these other tricks to make it start.
Sony please log this as an issue and provide some solution.
