My phone NEO V often looses GSM signal & 3G not works at all. Signal can disappear without any reason and not appear very long, sometimes rebooting helps and sometimes not. I have tried different sim cards. I tried all possible variants in Network preferences (3G preferred and 2G only) - no differences. I changed many firmwares using official firmware flasher and Flash Tool. Tried different versions of Android from 2.x to 4.x Have any more ideas what to try?

It's hard to say what causing the problem. I don't know so much about custom software's but if the phone doesn't work with a proper standard software it needs to be examined by a service centre.
i experienced the same problem... not only that, also my battery drained faster than before.. soon i found out that the reason that causes me those problem was the "NETWORK MODE" so instead of choosing WCDMA(3g) only, i changed it to GSM (2g) only or the WCDMA/GSM preferred.. using 3g will put more stress to the phone in finding the right signal thus using more juice from ur batt.. hope this solves your problem...
