KitKat Upgrade Regret

I am starting to regret my decision to upgrade to KitKat 4.4.2 My Z1 C6906 was almost flawless but now there are major issues:
BATTERY DRAIN- The phone is running down at a much faster rate then before the upgrade. CAMERA FREEZE- The camera takes longer to startup and often locks up right after initializing. This is random but very annoying.

There are also various minor issues but I would appreciate any suggestions on how to fix the two major ones first.

Had similar issues but my battery life its a lot better (after a week or two) just re-install the latest update with SUS or PCC

My phone has been affected by the battery and heat issues as well. The audio during video doesn't work and I agree that the changes to the camera **bleep** as well. Among many other things.

That's just the beginning. 

And before people try to tell me how to fix all this stuff, why doesn't Sony and/or Android fix this mess so we don't have to spend hours fixing something THAT DIDN'T NEED TO BE FIXED WITH A SO-CALLED "UPGRADE".

I have a problem with email after upgrade, and need to reset to jellybean - can someone point me to how I can go back to JB? This is for my experia M2.

Most of those issues are fixed in 4.4.4 upgrade.

As a remedy to camera freeze clear camera app settings. It helped me for a week or two. Under 4.4.4 no more heating or battery issues. Only occasionally something breaks but most of the time nothing severely impacts performance. One restart per week to clean up memory. Nothing more.
