How do I get ! on my xperia keyboard?

Okay, I know that this is probably the simplest question in the world to some people, but I don't know how to use either the ! or  the , on my keyboard.  I have tried every combination of keys I can think of but still just get ? or .  Can't find the answer in the manual.  Please help!

All you have to do is double tap the ? to get the ! or double tap the . to get the ,
