full load and need to reset before power ON

my phone Xperia u getting hang after power ON and stuck for long time can't able to opne anything and display getting black.

and android version 4.0 ICS

so i need to hard reset my phone can u help me please ...?

Remove the battery and put it back in.Turn it on.

o same issue repeat power on the phone then view home screen jor just 3 second then suddenly get black screen will and light bar is on .
