Elm - Memory Card "Empty Folder" problem

I have a problem with my Sony Ericsson Elm - when I try to save something to my memory card everything seems to be okay, however when I then try to view what is saved on my memory card I get the message "Empty Folder". I then have to turn my phone off ad back on again for everything to reappear in my memory card folder. But then if I try to save something again to my memory card the cycle starts again and I get the "Empty Folder" message once again.

Try updating via Sony Ericsson Update Service and/or format the memory card.

The problem is in your SD card. It's defected, replace it.
